On
June 3rd the Yokohama Association for International Communications
& Exchanges (YOKE) has officially inaugurate its new office on
the 9th floor of the Sangyo Boeki Centre Building. Besides the
magnificent view, this new location will help the association to
better serve the residents in many ways. First, all the activities of
YOKE have been reunited under one roof, thus facilitating the search
for information. YOKE has also opened a new section where residents,
whether Japanese or people from the foreign communities, are able to
browse the vast selection of newspapers and magazines from around the
world, and publications and books on a variety of topics. Another new
feature is the ability to book 2 rooms at a very affordable rate with
capacity of 25 and 50 people for cultural activities. So, if you ever
had problems finding a venue for your group activities, YOKE has the
solution! Let's celebrate! There are many activities planned to
celebrate YOKE's re-opening and we would like to invite you to our
new facility.
Although the events started on June 3rd, there are still plenty of fun and educational activities ahead.
