The 18th Yokohama Kaikosai

(Port Opening Memorial Festival)


To commemorate the 140 years since the opening of Yokohama port, an extravaganza of community and international interaction is planned. Besides events held in past years, the 1999 festival features a community musical created to bring together people of different backgrounds and nationalities.
